Orientation and Enrolment Information:
Roxburgh Park Primary School is committed to welcoming all the new Foundation/Prep students and their families to the school community and to make the transition to school a positive experience. The Foundation/Prep Transition program traditionally runs in Term 4 in the year preceding school entry. The Program includes 4 orientation sessions along with an information session for parents, where the Principal, staff members, student leaders and representatives from the wider school community provide information about school programs and the curriculum. A comprehensive starting school information pack is also provided.
The four 90 minute sessions provide an opportunity for Foundation/Prep students to participate in a variety of engaging Literacy and Numeracy activities along with exploring the classroom environment. These sessions are designed to prepare children for primary school and help them feel more confident about what to expect at school. It is recommended that your child attends all four sessions.
